Awesome Affordable Laptops

Awesome Affordable LaptopsI’ve been wanting to do this specific kind of an article for a while now. A list of Very Good Laptops for you to consider before you’ll go shopping anywhere else. Since this Blog is about Web Resources and Design Inspirations, I also like to include some of the gadgets and technology that Web Developers or Designers might need. I remember when I had to decide what Laptop to purchase that I wished there would be somewhere a list of recommended and of good quality Laptops for me to consider so I could lower the time of researching. Also, look closely at the images if the Laptop has the Number Pad on the right of the Keyboard or not, just so you know what you are getting.

To be honest and hopefully helpful, I’ll let you know what kind of Laptops and/or Computers I recommend, or what to look for while shopping for Computers and/or Laptops. My most recommended brands for Laptops and Computers are Dell, Sony, and Apple. I’ve had and still use Dell Laptops for a while now. I like their simple design and really good quality. My mother used and still use Dell Computers. About Sony and Apple Computers and Laptops I heard lots of reviews and opinions of honest people, and I just trust Sony and Apple with that kind of technology. Either from personal experience or from trusted sources I am totally against Compaq, HP, and other low quality brands for Computers and Laptops. I do support HP brand the most in Printer Technology.

Also, just so you know, most of the Computers and Laptops are only lasting for about five years. After 5 years get ready for your Computer or Laptop to begin breaking down, slowing extremely down, or completely getting fried. Why? From personal experience I can understand now that all or Most of the Software is Being Updated Periodically (sometimes too often, like Microsoft and Adobe programs). The more big companies update their software = the faster Computers and Laptops they require you to use for their software. Plain and simple – our Laptops and Computers get outdated as soon as we get them, and that is annoying, and that is why I don’t recommend buying a very expensive one if it’s very hard for you to afford one. Sometimes it feels like the Big companies are trying to get rid of the middle and low class people and businesses… Very sad.

Anyway, when you look for Computers or Laptops, try to make sure that you get lots of RAM, that is very and maybe the most important part of your computer being fast and nicely functional for a long period of time. As soon as you decide to get a Computer or Laptop with bigger RAM, you’ll immediately see that their price goes up at the same time. 4 GB RAM is really good for 2010 and 2011. I Always try to make sure that I get the Intel Processor and not the AMD Athlon, but some people say that they see no difference. Also, if will run extreme programs or games on your Computer or Laptop, then you must make sure that you get some really good Video Card pre-installed in it, and maybe a really good Sound Card. Just so you know, as soon as you decide to get a good Video or Sound Card, then the price of your computer or laptop will jump insanely high up, and same goes for the processors, the better the processor = the higher the price.

After all, if my advice is not good enough for you, then read the reviews. Don’t just read the reviews on one website or blog, look through a few of them to get a better picture. At the same time, remember, buy only what you can afford. Don’t have the cash for it? Then wait and collect some money until you will have enough. If you have some more advice in what to look for when shopping for Computers or Laptops, then please feel free to let us know in the Comment Section below :) As for now, go ahead and look through my List of Awesome Recommended and Affordable Laptops.

  1. James Smith João Pessoa, Brazil says:

Dell? Everything Dell has ever sold has been total junk. They build to a price point and so must use the cheapest possible components.

I once had 6 Dell laptops as part of a training project. Within 6 months, two of them had failed totally. A 33% failure rate is excessive even for a junk product like Dell. I would not own a Dell anything if they gave it to me for free.

    1. Thank you for your honest opinion and experience, I’ve never heard of Dell being crappy, but this is definitely good to know and share with those who might be shopping for Dell Laptops or Computers…
